ROBOT COMBAT IS INHERENTLY DANGEROUS. THIS WEBSITE IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR EDUCATION.
ALWAYS WEAR PROPER EYE PROTECTION AND SAFETY GEAR.
DON’T OPERATE TOOLS YOU HAVEN’T BEEN TRAINED ON.

1400rpm N20 Motors
Motors make your robot move when attached to tires!
These turnabot motors are a step above other n20s! Turnabot N20 motors stall at an incredible 2.0+ amps on 2S. It is VERY hard to stall these with common insect weight drive system.

Malenki Nano HV
Front of Malenki
Back of Malenki
The Malenki Nano is an advanced speed controller. Basic speed controllers take the input from your receivers and translate it into movement in your motors. The special thing about the Malenki nano is it also has an integrated receiver, so it reduces the weight needed to control and talk to your robot!
2S 370mah battery
Always wear protective eyewear when handling any battery.
Always charge lipo batteries in a lipo sac.
Always balance charge lipos. This means that you have the balance plug attached when charging.
Always have safety sand buckets within reach, to bury lipo if there is any indication that it has started to “puff up” or smoke at all.
Never use damaged lipos.
Use proper handling.
These batteries give your parts power!
30.4mm x 14mm LEGO wheel
These lego tires give a very easy way to have reliable, grippy tires!
- Rubber 30.4mmx14mm Tires$5.00
37mm x 22mm Lego Wheel
These lego tires give a very easy way to have reliable, grippy tires, and are a little larger for easy designing!
Micro spdt switch
Zipties
Zipties are used for securing wiring and keeping things in place during the big hits that happen during combat!
Heat Inserts
Heat inserts allow you to add threading to mount a bolt easily, and it won’t wear out the printed materials.
Giant Paperclip
The paperclip is meant to be used as a hinge! Cut it up (safely, wearing eye protection) and use it to push through and act as a pivot point!

Battery Charger
We find most people already have a suitable lipo charger available to them, but if you don’t we do offer a charger available here:
Controller/Transmitter
Many types of Controllers/Transmitters can be used in robot combat – and the choice of transmitter is very personal.
We like to let people choose for themselves, but do point out that the Malenki nano only works with a select few transmitters. See our recommended transmitter for the Malenki linked below:
We wanted to give some fundamental tips on how to assemble the electronics of your SCAR Kit! These are beginning guides, because how the parts are placed/which parts are used will be dependent on what design you create and your own preferences.
